Square Enix later came out and squashed those rumors and stated the Final Fantasy VII Remake is a PS4 exclusive and there are no plans to release it on other platforms. Well, recently after the Xbox Germany Facebook account posted a video showing the game coming to both the PS4 and Xbox One on March 3, it send the rumor mill swirling. It led many to believe that the remake would be a timed exclusive and would eventually release on Xbox, PC, and maybe even the Switch. When the FF7 Remake was announced, Sony said “play it first on PS4”. Hopefully this thread is okay, but I did some digging and didn’t find a suitable thread and felt like this deserved a separate thread to itself.
